The Energy cafe serves a selection on modern British mains alongside Hot dogs and a deli salad section.The Diner serves a range of salads and mains, as well as focusing on a range of stone baked sourdough pizzas.Salary: £43,000 to £45,000Shifts: 5 days out of 7/ Mon- Fri/ WeekendsContract: Full Time, PermanentAbout the Head Chef role:To plan, organise and direct the kitchen team to deliver exceptional fresh and seasonal food to specification, ensuring that we never compromise on taste and qualityTo drive sales and monitor costs through responsibly ordering via quality and preferred suppliersTo be responsible for all aspects of food safety, health and safety and COSHHTo manage rotas and scheduling accordingly to the business needsTo coach, train and develop the teamTo work closely with the group Executive Chef on menu developmentThe ideal candidate will be:Passionate about designing, creating and delivering exceptional food dishesExperienced working within a high volume kitchenBe organised, have attention to detail and be able to run multiple units as well as run events.Commercially aware - Understanding of profit margins, purchasing, budgets, labour, food costsAdditional InformationBenugo has built a culture of inclusivity & progression for all employees.
