We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!
As a Hardware Engineer for our Christchurch location, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team designing electronic circuits for motor controllers for powered wheelchairs, and peripherals such as LCD joysticks, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity units. Reporting to a project manager, you will be exposed to all stages of the product development. You will demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop in the role. You will be self-motivated, goal driven, and a team player who can enthusiastically collaborate with other engineers.
The ideal candidate for this role will design and development of electronic circuits for motor controllers for powered wheelchairs, and peripherals such as colour LCD joysticks, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity units.

Your Challenge
Design and development of electronic circuits for motor controllers for powered wheelchairs, and peripherals such as colour LCD joysticks, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity units
Prototyping and testing of novel circuitry, schematic capture, simulation, and PCB design
Thermal management techniques
What You Bring
A relevant degree in hardware engineering, electronics or similar
5+ years of experience with no engineering degree
The following skills/experience would be advantageous but not essential:
Knowledge of Altium PCB design
Experience in developing motor controllers in a regulated market
Power electronics
