Job title: Hard Services Manager– ElectricalLocation: BiggleswadeHours: 40 hours per WeekBenefits: Up to 10% annual discretionary bonus, Married BUPA PMI cover, Health Cash Plan & 5% pension.We are advertising this Hard Services Manager role on behalf of our client ‘CBES. City were established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world’s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.Job Purpose:To oversee the delivery of planned and reactive works on a defined site within agreed timescales and budgets whilst complying with company policy and procedure.Engage with Coop senior management, complete MI reports and input into local business planning processes etc.To ensure the efficient management and operation of a distribution facility.Key Accountabilities:Responsible for the management delivery of all reactive and planned works;Assist the management of Lead Engineer, DMTs and DMAs to ensure contract KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved;Liaise with the customer and other key stakeholders, both internally and externally;Monitor and report on the operational performance of the contract, including delivery of planned and reactive works on the specific siteLiaise and manage both internal sub-contractors and client direct supply chain (Managed contracts)Liaise with supply chain to obtain quotations for reactive / planned tasks and manage while working on site.Responsibility for completion and sign of for all RAMS and relevant H&S documentation.The management, development and motivation of their team of direct reports including the assessment and monitoring of job performance and where necessary, facilitating the company disciplinary and/or grievance procedure in conjunction with the Human Resources department.Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, CBES HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all direct reports are adequately trained and follow safe systems of work;Chair meetings including internal and customer.Production of site progress reports for CBES senior managementCosting and planning small works, asset/capexEnsuring the planning, development and implementation of strategy for staff training in conjunction with site and job specific requirements.Comply with any reasonable request or instruction from the customer/Operations ManagerResponsibility for management and delivery of PPM schedule within agreed timescalesQualifications & Experience:City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical Installation (or equivalent)- essentialCity & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection).BS7671:2018 – Wiring Regulations 18th EditionProven track record within engineering/building maintenance.Previous experience of managing/prioritising a varied/demanding workload.Minimum 3 years’ previous experience of operating within a large-scale distribution site- essentialAbility to problem solve on minor, planned and small works projects with a good working knowledge of multi-trade delivery (i.e. Joinery/Building/Electrical)Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client.Proficient with MS Office.Knowledge of CAFM software and experience of Verisae.If you feel these qualities describe you, then we would like to hear from you. Please apply by submitting your CV in the strictest confidence to Oliver Fox at PDA SEARCH & SELECTION LIMITEDFind a Job
