Job Summary:
As a General Handyman at our clients garage based in Inverness, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment, ensuring the efficient operation of daily tasks. Your responsibilities will include cleaning work areas, tidying the yard, performing minor repairs as needed, and assisting with general maintenance duties as directed by supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and organizing workshop areas, including floors, workbenches, and equipment, to maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
Tidying the yard by removing debris, organizing storage areas, and maintaining cleanliness around the premises.
Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks on equipment, tools, and facilities as required.
Emptying bins and managing waste disposal in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Assisting mechanics and technicians with tasks as needed, such as moving equipment, fetching supplies, or supporting vehicle inspections.
Following health and safety guidelines and wearing appropriate protective gear while performing tasks.
Reporting any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
