Day Webster Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Haematology Consultant to join our esteemed medical team. Role and Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert haematological care to patients with a wide range of blood disorders and malignancies.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and management plans for haematological conditions, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Perform bone marrow aspirates, biopsies, and other diagnostic procedures as required.
  • Coordinate and oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments for haematological malignancies.
  • Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and on-call services, delivering compassionate and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to audit, research, and quality improvement projects to enhance haematological services and patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Completion of specialist training in haematology and entry onto the Specialist Register (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in providing haematological care in a hospital setting, including the management of haematological malignancies.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to patient-centred care, safety, and continuous professional development.
