Job: H & S Advisor/Trainer
Location: Ramsgate
Job Type: Full time/permanent (Work Pattern: predominantly Monday to Friday, between 8.30 am - 4.30 pm, 37.5 hours per week with some weekend working as required)

The individual will be required to support company activity as a qualified advisor with a focus upon delivery of health and safety services to clients as detailed below.

Duties and Responsibilities
To engage in an appropriate level of safety advising and training activity as determined by qualification and experience which includes, but is not limited to:
* Undertaking site visits to complete inspections
* Supporting Consultants and other advisors in development of paperwork and systems
* Completion of Quality Management systems, including SSIP applications, including gathering of required information,
* In liaison with Consultants and other advisors, develop client policies, safe systems of work and event plans.
* Attending training courses required for onward development.
* Deliver safety briefings and training as required
* Work at outdoor events (may include some weekend working)
* Liaising with clients to identify and develop sales opportunities.
* Engage with the company CRM system.
* Attend regular client meetings with safety consultants and advisors
* Keep up to date with H&S legislation and industry guidance
* Undertake any reasonable tasks identified by Directors or other staff.

Essential Requirements
* Holds a minimum of NEBOSH General or Construction certificate (or equivalent).
* Be prepared to travel (occasional overnight stays)
* Good standard of computer & IT competency
* Full driving licence with own transport

Desirable
* Varied industry experience
* Knowledge of CDM 2015 and fire safety legislation
* Level 3 certificate in training
* Member of industry-related professional body (e.g. IOSH etc)
* First aider
