We operate over 7 million sq.ft. of warehousing space across 30+ locations in the UK. Our distribution network spans all corners of the country.Our Sheffield, Tinsley site are now recruiting for a Team Leader on a full time permanent basis.Salary: £11.07 per hour + £1.00 per hour shift supplement.Working hours: Rotating shift - 06:00am-14;00pm and then 14:00pm-22:00pm.Job DescriptionTo effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targetsTo effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basisTo adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulationsTo ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company proceduresTo ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and externalTo ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered toTo liaise with agency controllers on a day to day basis providing feedback regarding agency workersTo assist in the training and development of new startersTo act as a role model for best practiceMonitor, control and minimise wastePlay an active part in continuous improvementDrive own personal development through training and work based experienceTo undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the postQualificationsCritical thinkingWorking well in a teamKnowledge of packing practicesSetting clear objectives and motivating teamsListen and encourage new ideas from othersDisplays a positive attitude to changeAble to positively lead a team of people (temporary labour)Ability to communicate in a positive and clear mannerAdditional InformationAs part of its Drive to make Great Bear a great place to work.
