What you will do as a Groups and Events Sales Manager
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize occupancy for group bookings and event space.
Perform daily sales activities including face to face meetings, contracting & rate negotiations, attendance at trade shows both locally and internationally, participate on FAM trips and conduct regular site inspections
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to generate new events business. You will be a people person who is great at growing and maintaining long lasting relationships
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in hotel event sales
Prepare and present regular reports and updates to management on events sales performance, market trends, and opportunities
Monitor event performance and client feedback and share with the hotel teams
