Group Travel Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Groups Travel Consultant to join a highly successful travel company due to remarkable growth to work remotely.

Our client offers a wide range of holiday types across the globe groups travel, meetings and events.

This role is ideal for a groups travel professional from a leisure or business travel background looking to work sociable working hours. We would consider candidates who have been out the industry for a few years looking to come back into travel.

Groups Travel Consultant - Duties:

• Creating new group travel bookings and supporting all post-confirmation enquiries such as changes and cancelations, while maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.


• Servicing our customer’s travel needs via phone and email


• Servicing bookings from start to finish, including post booking activities


• Utilising outbound calling, up-selling and cross-selling, along with other techniques, to maximise revenue, using a consultative sales approach


• Focusing on group flight and hotel bookings


• Partnering with Destination Management Companies and event providers to offer additional products globally

Groups Travel Consultant - Essential Requirements:

• Experience in business travel within groups is essential


• GDS systems experience (Native) on Amadeus, Galileo or sabre


• Legal right to work and live in the UK full time


• High level of written and verbal communication skills
