THE COMPANY

A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced site security and surveillance professional to play a lead role in protecting the people, facilities and assets of this large, multi-site organisation. If you are passionate around CCTV, intruder alarm and security lighting technology, design, specification, installation and maintenance and possess exceptional communication and management skills, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are representing a large, diverse, multi-site Group with a significant number of trading subsidiaries across the UK and Ireland. With a strong network of security and surveillance systems in-situ, your key focus will be to play a lead role in the design and on-going management of a robust, fit for purpose CCTV, intruder alarm and lighting programme across the group, to detect and deter security threats and ensure its people, facilities and assets are fully protected.  

THE ROLE

• Carry out the effective ongoing design and management of all aspects of site CCTV, intruder alarm and security lighting systems across the Group


• Provide specialist expertise and technical knowledge to improve CCTV, controlled access and security lighting infrastructure across the estate


• Conduct regular CCTV, lighting and controlled access assessments, audits and inspections to identify risks, vulnerabilities and areas for improvement


• Ensure conformity to ISO standards and where required, recognise and correct any non-conformity


• Responsibility for third party supplier contract management, monitoring and evaluating SLA’s and service performance


• Represent the client as part of the "Incident Management Team", conducting internal investigations whether crime or incident related


• Work closely with key stakeholders to manage site CCTV, alarm and controlled access security and surveillance protocols and standards


• Manage the security budget and identify opportunities for efficiencies, savings and investments


• Continuously bring forward new innovations associated with site security, access control and surveillance to improve operational effectiveness

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate will be an experienced CCTV and access control, security and surveillance professional – SIA accredited – with a knowledge and passion for leading the design, installation and on-going management of cutting-edge CCTV, intruder alarm, controlled access systems and security lighting across multiple commercial locations around the UK and Ireland. You will be proficient in carrying out site survey assessments, audits and investigations over a large multi-site estate, ensuring the business is fully protected. In working closely with key stakeholders, you will have excellent communication and relationship building skills, able to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity, along with a real passion for delivering a suite of modern, fit for purpose security, surveillance and access control solutions.
