Group Service and Technical Reporting Analyst - VWGDekra Automotive are now recruiting for a Group Service and Technical Reporting Analyst!Group Service and Technical Reporting AnalystLocation: Volkswagen Group’s National Learning Centre, WymbushSalary: Competitive, DOE + Benefits!Contract: Permanent, Full timeBenefits: 25 days plus annual leave plus BH, Holiday buy and sell scheme, Employee referral scheme, Private health insurance, Pension contribution, Eye test vouchers, Electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme, Employee assistant programmeWe are DEKRA Automotive, we have a unique and challenging opportunity for a Vehicle Inspector Engineer to join our global business employing over 44,000 employees in more than 50 countries on all five continents!In the UK, we offer diverse services across automotive, oil and gas, insurance and chemical and process safety industries.We are now recruiting for a Group Service and Technical Reporting Analyst to design, develop and manage high quality reports and visualisations e.g. Power BI.You will work with stakeholders across Group functions, IT and multiple departments within the six VWG UK Brands but primarily for the Service and Technical function within One Aftersales.You will Develop and operate in conjunction with the central database (One Aftersales) to deliver a detailed forecast by line of the S&T business, leading to the forecasting of trends.You will create a pertinent reporting, analysis and data interpretation that empowers stakeholders to act upon the information provided and drive continuous improvement.In addition to this as our Service and Technical Reporting Analyst you will:Design, develop and manage reports, dashboards and data visualisations in a BI toolExport, combine and cleanse data from various sources in order to be visually represented in a BI toolWork with key stakeholders/business owners to understand, agree and document their requirementsCommunicate progress and demo reporting solutions to the wider businessManage external BI development resources to ensure the desired end-state is achievedWork closely with data engineering resources where needed for more complex deliveriesDefine and implement best practises and training in Power BI – improving usage, self-service and self-manage within 12mthsManage your own technical expertise such that the role is a meaningful Power BI SME within the business.Working with the supplier, uses accurate data analysis to predict trends and fluctuations in network activity.Is responsible for the ongoing management, timings and input to the Forecast and costs with the intention to handover over operating model to VWG UK FTE’s .Presents data findings in a user-friendly format, tailoring presentation to the needs of the audience or recipient, interpreting data, and identifying actions / recommendationsProvides visibility and reporting covering all areas of the S&T operation, e.g. Performance, escalations and Network performance across the S&T division but not limited to.Ensures formal governance and control of process documentation is in place, and ensures closed loop feedback is used to drive continuous improvement.Ensures formal change control governance is understood and adhered to by both the supplier and wider VWG stakeholders.In order to be successful in this role you must have experience using / be:General knowledge of modern data visualisation and BI tool(s)Experience with a wide range of data sourcesExperience of working in an agile fashionHighly numerate with Advanced Power BI skillsMS Package applicationsSQL SkillsProblem solving abilities – using creative thinking to drive better solutionsAbility to clearly communicate about data to both technical and non-technical audiencesHigh attention to detailTakes ownership of issues and proactively works to resolve themTeam playerEnjoy working in a fast-paced environmentAble to work in an agile way (iterative developments, able to pivot and change focus if required)Willingness to learn new technical skillsIt would be great if you had Project Management skills and experience with Business Objects but neither of these things are essential!If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on ‘APPLY’ today, forwarding an up to date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.Registered Office: 36B Speirs Wharf, Port Dundas, Glasgow, G4 9TGCompany Reg No. - SC372990 | VAT Reg No. - GB986160980
