Posted: 3 days ago Expires in: 29 days Group Purchasing & Supply Chain ManagerWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a multi -award -winning automotive company based in the Leeds area.They are currently looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Group Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager.Duties will include:* Leading and Managing the purchasing and logistics department.* Implementing strategic supply chain initiatives as well as managing supply chain operations.* Forging and sustaining relationships with old and new suppliers.* Accountability for the day-to-day aspects of the purchasing departments.* Control purchasing department budgets in line with the delegation of Authority.* Stakeholder negotiation in regards to prices and terms.* Ensure supplier contracts & assessments are done in line with the company regulations.* Involvement with purchasing , sales forecasting and planning process.* Arrange and contribute to courses such as DGSA’s.* Develop and implement purchasing instructions, policies, and procedures.The ideal candidate will:* Have an understanding of the automotive industry.* Strong leadership and management qualifications.* Extensive ERP experience.* Will have an understanding of commercial insights and trends to combat challenges with supply chain operations, e.g., legal à Brexit, Covid, import and export regulations ETC.* Excellent communication skills.In return the client offers:* Company mileage paid for any required travel.* Company Mobile Phone.* Pension scheme* 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays* Competitive salaryIF YOU WOULD LIKE MORE INFORMATION OR FOR AN INFORMAL CHAT PLEASE CALL KATIE ON 075 – 107 – 977 - 19.
