Group Planning and Reporting Manager, Lancashire
Up to £75,000 + excellent benefits, pension, bonus
An ideal role for an ACA or ACCA looking for a first move from practice or a subsequent move in industry.
Our client is a highly profitable and growing £200m turnover Group. A high profile and respected player in its sector the business has enjoyed a track record of profitable expansion reaching back more than 40 years through shrewd and conservative management.
The business has a highly flexible hybrid working policy.
With a mainly centralised finance function the key role of the Group Planning & Reporting Manager is being created, both to support one of the Group’s key operating divisions and also with Group Finance responsibilities too.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller key responsibilities encompass the following:-
Commercial Business Partnering : Providing Financial insight, support and challenge to the leadership team of one of the group’s key operating divisions; involvement in divisional business performance reviews
Financial Reporting and Control:
Preparation of management accounts and review of key balance sheet controls for one of the Group’s key operating divisions
Cashflow forecasting and working capital management
Capex and investment appraisals
for new developments and projects
Ongoing development of
systems, controls and processes
Budgeting and Forecasting
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, and will combine solid technical knowledge with strong relationship building and people management skills.
The business is interested in candidates who are already working in industry as well as candidates wishing to make a first move into industry (the business is happy to support the learning curve that such a move will entail)
