Opportunity to work for a leading and growing retailerProven environment to elevate auditors to the next level within their careersAbout Our ClientLeading and dynamic FTSE 250 retailer with a strong presence in Nottingham.Job DescriptionPlan, execute, and lead internal audit projects across the organisation, including financial, operational, and compliance audits.Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas of risk and recommending improvements.Assess financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy, compliance, and integrity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, operations, and emerging risks.Present audit results to senior management and stakeholders, discussing insights and necessary improvements.Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to enhance the internal audit function.Provide advisory services on internal control matters and contribute to the development of risk management strategies.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree and professional accountancy or internal audit qualification.3 years of experience in external or internal auditing.Strong understanding of internal control concepts, risk assessment methodologies, and audit techniques.Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Collaborative mindset and the ability to build relationships across different departments and levels of the organisation.What's on OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Opportunities for professional development and continued learning in the retail industry.
