We work with some of the UK’s most interesting brands and we’re looking for a Group Head (Design Team) to come and join us. Armbands optional.
The Part You’ll Play as Group Head (Design Team)... As a Group Head for our Design Team, you will lead a talented group of designers to conceptualize and execute captivating visual campaigns and customer experiences across digital, point of sale (POS), press and print channels for one of our leading clients. Your primary goal will be to elevate our brand presence and drive customer engagement through compelling eye-catching design solutions. You will continually refresh, wow and push design boundaries whilst always feeling on-brand for look and tone-of-voice. You will be a strong conceptual designer who can also art direct gorgeous photography. Food in particular.Key Responsibilities include :- Lead and inspire a team of designers to deliver high-quality creative work that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.- Develop innovative design concepts and strategies for digital platforms, POS materials, print collateral, and other marketing channels.
- Bring digital innovation, fresh thinking and smart process change to the team and help all embrace our spirit of continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, and product development to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.- Stay informed about industry tech trends and best practices in retail design, incorporating insights into our marketing initiatives.- Oversee the execution of projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and budget requirements are met.- Provide guidance and feedback to team members, fostering their growth and development within the organization.- Act as a brand ambassador, championing the importance of design in driving business results and enhancing the customer experience.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.- Proven experience in a leadership role within a retail environment, with a strong emphasis on design and marketing.- Exceptional creativity and a portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across various channels.- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).- Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple touchpoints.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.- Proven leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
