We seek to extensively engage with clinical communities to communicate product improvements and prioritise environmental, social, and governance considerations across the business and workforce.Pharmanovia’s therapeutic areas include Cardiovascular, Oncology, Endocrinology and Neurology. About the role:As Group Financial Reporting Manager you will be responsible for helping to support the team in overseeing external and internal reporting for the Group. You will be responsible for providing accurate financial information to internal and external parties as well as understanding and communicating related accounting implications to the wider business.Reporting into and working closely with the Director of Statutory Reporting you will have the opportunity to work on a range of different projects in a growing business and fast paced environment.The department has an ethos of continuous improvement, refining systems and creating efficiencies. This, along with the rapid growth of the business, leads to a varied and dynamic working environment. Assisting with reporting to investors, lenders and external partiesAssisting with accurate and timely reportingAccounting for complex transactions and being a key subject matter expert on IFRS and statutory reportingPreparation of the consolidation for the GroupPreparation of the UK annual financial statements under FRS101 and Group annual report under full IFRSReviewing the financial reporting of overseas subsidiariesIdentifying areas to enhance and improve the effectiveness of existing processes, controls and reporting automationProviding information to tax advisors in respect of the corporation tax and deferred tax computations for both the UK and overseas subsidiariesWork with both finance and non-finance colleagues, advising on anything in relation to financial reportingLeading the external audit processAd-hoc projects, analysis and insight as requested by the businessManaging a small team responsible for the reporting processSupporting in the digital transformation of the finance function by taking leading on projects to automate and standardise processesAbout you:Candidates with financial reporting experience within a pharmaceutical company, retail or manufacturing business, or similar commercial background are likely to have the skills required to be successful in this role. We are also looking for:ACA or ACCA qualifiedExcellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPointKnowledge of Sage X3Extensive knowledge of all areas of a working finance departmentExperience of Group reportingKnowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and ISA complianceSound business knowledge and commercial exposureStrong communication skills, and ability to explain financial information clearlyExcellent analytical and numerical abilities, strong attention to detailPeople management skills and the ability to collaborate and build relationshipsDevelop and maintain professional relationships both internally and externallyAbility to be flexible with working hours when working to deadlinesWhat we offer:We offer a competitive salary plus bonus and rewards package including holiday, health & wellbeing program, employee recognition awards, social events, pension scheme and hybrid working.
