Group Financial Controller

A highly acquisitive, market leading business experiencing a finance transformation as part of rapid growth and expansion are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller on an interim basis for a minimum of 6 months. This role will lead a project to rationalise the group reporting and consolidation function for newly acquired entities. This role will redesign and implement new processes that will allow the group reporting function scale up and develop further as the group continues to make acquisitions.

Duties:

• Lead the project to redesign the group reporting processes and procedures
• Implement and document new group consolidation processes
• Integrate processes within a new implemented ERP system
• Oversee the production of all statutory accounting and consolidation for all aacquired entities
• Integrate new acquired entities in to the new system/processes.
• Management and timely closure of both internal and external audits.
• Proposing solutions to streamline current processes/activities.
• Act as the key point of contact for the audit committe.

Experience/Key attributes:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
• Ideally trained within an audit/accountancy practice
• Experience of operating in a Senior Financial Reporting and/or Group Financial Controller role
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong influencing skills
• Excellent attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and quality
