Then this is the place for you!Who we’re looking for:As the Group Financial Controller, you will oversee the full accounting function for the Group businesses. You will be delivering insightful information to the owners and SMT to help the decision-making process. You will work with an operational team to manage different projects.You will provide the financial leadership and contribute proactively to the growth and development of the organisation’s activities, developing and managing the finance function in the exercise of financial control and the provision of financial advice and guidance to senior management in support of the overall business goals and objectives.What you’ll be doing:The position will deliver the management and reporting of business KPIs, with responsibility for developing financial plans, budgets, forecasts and analysis to ensure an efficient and cost-effective organisation. Providing strategic analysis supported by financial modelling, you will support key business decisions.You will be responsible for tax compliance and planning, as well as external statutory reporting, and ensuring compliance. You will manage the taxation requirements for the business.Main duties and responsibilities include:Lead in all areas of finance to support both the day to day running of the department and business goals and objectivesIdentifying and implementing opportunities for cost saving, revenue generation and improved cash flowsImplementation of continuous improvements across the finance function to gain operational efficienciesEnsuring compliance and reduction of risk for businessThe review, maintenance and development of financial policies and proceduresWorking with the operational team to produce and deliver projects on budgetProduction of the Budgeting, Forecasting and longer-term planningTaxationManage and support the finance functionAssisting in the management of personnel and general managerial duties where necessary.Making a sustainable positive contribution to the future success of the Company.Performing any other duties as may reasonably be required from time-to-time.Participating in training and development opportunities, staff performance appraisals and reviews as required.Complying with Data Protection Regulations with regard to safeguarding customers’ sensitive information at all times.Performing the role in accordance with the Agency’s policies and procedures.Adhering to and supporting all other company policies, procedures, processes and working practices, including adhering to best practice.The job description is not to be regarded as exclusive or exhaustive.
