Group Financial Controller

A PE backed niche service business with ambitious expansion plans is looking for a Group Financial Controller in Portsmouth. As Group Financial Controller, your duties will include but not limited to:Day to day management of the finance function of 10Financial lead on leadership team meetingsBudgeting and forecastingMonthly management accounts including the month end close process: closing the sub-ledgers, flash reporting, accruals and prepayments, month end balance sheet reconciliations and fixed assetsGroup cash forecasting and management, including group financing arrangementsCompletion and submission of the quarterly VAT returns and other statutory compliancePreparing and submitting the annual statutory account and associated tax filingsLeading the roll out of the new ERP systemWe're looking for a Group Financial Controller with the following skills and experience:Qualified Accountant from big 4 background or similarExperience of a PE backed business.Experience of ERP system implementationSelf-motivation and being a team player are essentialGood man managerThis is a suitable if you are a Controller in a c£10 million turnover business or a Financial Accountant in a larger one.
