Group Financial Accountant

Job description:

• Be a key player in producing the UK group consolidation (including for the budget process)
• Key player in the preparation of the reporting packages to the listed parent company, as well as the reporting to major stakeholders within the UK, including the UK CFO
• Collaborate with the Group Financial Accounting Manager and the rest of the team to produce the UK statutory accounts, involving accounting papers and being a point of contact for the auditors
• Play an integral role within the production of the corporation tax estimates and production of tax packs for the tax advisors
• Assist with the preparation of VAT returns (UK and overseas)
• Preparation of monthly account reconciliations
• Assist with Company Secretarial activities
• Assist with reporting for Office of National Statistics
• Actively contribute to the positive culture within the Group

The Successful Applicant:

• Strong Excel skills
• A first mover out or practice or a Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with experience in a similar role
• Group consolidations experience would be beneficial
