Group Financial Accountant

We are thrilled to be working on an exclusive new recruitment assignment designed for a Group Financial Accountant. This is a rare opportunity for a candidate looking to make their first move from practice to expand their knowledge within a nationwide business.The role of Group Financial Accountant will support the main division of the business with some indirect exposure across the wider subsidiaries. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the role will predominantly include the full production of consolidated statutory accounts and forecasts as well as developing current reporting processes. Duties and responsibilities to include: * Production of consolidated statutory accounts for all group entities and subsidiaries* Responsibility for Financial Accounting and full production of monthly management accounts* Consolidation of monthly forecasts across all business entities* Responsibility for Group reporting across all business entities * Reconciliation of management reporting information - including managing process improvements to facilitate statutory adjustments (IFRS 15 / IFRS 16 etc)* Ownership of Financial modelling to assist with the strategic plans for corporate entities * Preparation of goods and materials for audit review and the preparation of tax returns * Supporting with the design and implementation of system modifications Person Specification: * Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA* Experience of Financial Reporting and application of IFRS Accounting StandardsFor further information or a private and confidential conversation either for this specific opportunity or your personal job search please contact Jack Curtis on 0114 261 1700 or 07496 364678.Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
