This role sits in the Group Finance function of Paysafe, a dynamic multi-national payments company listed on NYSE. This role is based in our London office and offers a flexible hybrid work environment where you will have a blend of office days and remote working days during the week.Position Overview:This role sits in the Group Finance function of Paysafe Group Limited, a dynamic Global Fintech business, listed on the New York Stock Exchange.Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, this role requires an individual with strong financial accounting and external reporting background. The role will focus on supporting the period-end reporting process and compliance with SOX controls and process improvements, linked to a wider Group transformation. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of functions across Group Finance and engage in the detail of the Group close process and assist with the review of financial information, to draw sound and concise conclusions.As a key member of the Group Financial Reporting team, the London based Group Financial Accountant will work closely with various functions across the group and global finance teams. The Group Financial Reporting team consists of individuals with varying experience, expertise, and background. The opportunities for learning and growth are bigger than ever, which is why we are looking to expand our team and recruit a likeminded individual who is passionate, driven and pro-active.Key Responsibilities:Perform monthly reconciliations and analytical reviews over balance sheet and income statement financial statement line items, and present this to senior management on a quarterly basisAssist with preparation of the group financial reporting package, for monthly, quarterly, and annual resultsLiaison with divisional finance teams to ensure a timely and accurate close, and appropriate understanding and analysis of reporting entity submissionsSupport the accounting for areas such as share based compensation, business combinations, goodwill and long-lived asset impairmentAssist with the preparation of disclosure support for quarterly and annual financial statementsLiaison with divisional finance teams and provide guidance on accounting for unusual transactionsSupport and delivery of materials to external auditorsSupport the wider team's delivery requirements including ad hoc project work and initiatives as requiredSkills and Experience:Fully qualified ACCA/ACAAbility to analyse financial data and draw sound conclusions from it, and identify potential issuesRobust knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards and application thereofKnowledge of SOX compliance and requirementsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to concisely present financial information verbally and in writingA team player with strong technical skills and a willingness to take ownershipLife at Paysafe:One network.
