Job DescriptionEnsure that all subsidiaries of the Shaw Trust Group are following the correct groups accounting policies, particularly in relation to regular (monthly or quarterly) balance sheet and other reconciliations. Ensure the accurate management of centralised asset processes including fixed assets, leases and capital expenditureAction all asset requests in an accurate and timely mannerHold responsibility for balance sheet and P&L reconciliation and justification for asset related accountsPrepare and review of other key balance sheet reconciliations across the Group.Assist in the preparation of the statutory year end accounts across the Group. The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Accountant should have:A professional qualification in accounting or finance - ACA / ACCA / QBEProven working experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role for c.3 + yearsGroup consolidations experience. Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership skills.
