Assist with the co-ordination of the annual audit and financial statement preparation process for the Group and its subsidiariesLiaise with the external auditorsAssist in preparation and review of statutory returnsBecome a super user of the Group consolidation softwareAssist with the implementation of new IFRSand other reporting standards applicable to the Group, including non-financial measures such as climate reportingPreparation of accounting papers for new business lines & client contractsInvolvement in adhoc financial reporting and financial systems projects, such as identifying & implementing improvements in reporting and consolidation processesMonthly management account preparationReview general ledger account reconciliations and monitor/ challenge outcomesPrepare and post consolidation adjustmentsAssist with the co-ordination and preparation of the budget for the GroupAssist with the preparation of the monthly Board Report Analysis of results, identifying and providing commentary on key variances
Person Specification:
ACA/ACCA QualifiedFirst time mover from practice or have some industry experienceTechnically astuteAdvanced excel skillsWilling to learn and take responsibility
