Greenwellgleesion are pleased to be working with a large and very successful manufacturing and distribution business to recruit a Group Financial Accountant. Their products are distributed to suppliers through dedicated sales organisations and distributors in over 130 countries across the world.This position reports to the Director of Financial Reporting, and forms part of the financial reporting team. This team is responsible for the Group’s internal and external financial reporting, including the Group Audit, and reporting to the Board and Banks.The Role:*Assist the Director of Financial Reporting in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Group consolidation in HFM*Play a lead role in the administration of the Group’s portfolio of leases under IFRS16 using established lease software, including reconciliation between this software and HFM*Responsible for actioning all direct postings into HFM in relation to IFRS16 lease entries*Responsible for monitoring all of the Group’s intercompany accounts, both P&L and balance sheet, including following up on discrepancies*Responsible for the accounts of a range of holding companies, including monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and completion of local GAAP statutory accounts where necessary*Provision of monthly reporting to the Group CFO and other internal management as requested*Assist the Director of Financial Reporting in a range of aspects of the year end process, e.g. review of subsidiary submissions, preparation of disclosure notes, provision of analysis to external audit team*Play a key role in the Financial Reporting function*Build effective relationships with finance teams across the globe*Assist in global financial process development, maintenance and improvement, updating Group procedures, as necessarySkills and attributes required.*Ideally ACA qualified with big four or top 10 audit background*Technically strong, with in depth IFRS knowledge*Ability to deliver accurate results to tight deadlines with good attention to detail*Experience with general accounting, financial statement preparation, consolidations, monthly close processes, and cash flow reporting*Familiarity with multi-currency, group consolidations*Highly systems literate including advanced Excel*Strong interpersonal and communications skills required*Willingness to improve processes and drive efficiencies*Highly motivated, self-starter and results-orientedGreenwell Gleeson Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.To find out more about how and why Greenwell Gleeson Ltd process your personal data in line with the data protection regime please go to the privacy notice on our website www.greenwellgleeson.co.uk
