Group Financial Accountant - Doncaster / hybrid

Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be recruiting a Group Financial Accountant for the Doncaster head office of a successful multi-site business.
The role reporting into the Group Financial Reporting Manager and will have responsibility for the management and control of the Corporate Reporting and Accounting compliance activities of the Group.Responsibilities will include:
Statutory and Lender Reporting
Support in the production of the statutory accounts for all Group entities Manage and produce the full Group statutory consolidations and drive improvements in the consolidation processSupport all periodic and ad hoc lender reporting processes Support in the process of working towards PLC readiness Preparation of materials for audit review purposesSupport in the preparation of materials required for external parties to prepare tax returns
Management Reporting/Forecasting
Provide financial accounting support and input to the monthly management reporting and forecasting process to ensure the consolidation is robustMonthly reporting from all Group financing and corporate entitiesEnsure management reporting information produced using consolidation tools, is reconciled with and consistent with audited annual accountsSupport and completion of ad hoc projects undertaken by the businessFinancial modelling; to facilitate the production of business plans and reporting for technical accounting and corporate entities
Financial Accounting
Support on the adoption of new accounting standardsMaintaining the chart of accounts and working with the wider finance team to ensure the chart of account is designed for management and statutory reporting requirementsSupporting with design and implementation of Anaplan and COINS system modifications
Key skills / qualifications:
ACA / ACCA qualifiedknowledge of IFRS 15 & 16Experience of Group consolidationsStrong communication skills
