The role...We are looking for an experienced Group Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our business and drive the company's financial strategy and planning. You will lead our strategic, commercial finance operations, ensuring our long-term financial sustainability and success. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company, as well as possible risks and investments.Your expertise will not only be instrumental in managing and optimising our financial operations but also in fostering strong relationships with senior stakeholders to drive business improvements. By providing strategic financial guidance and solutions, you will help us navigate through complex business decisions and maintain our competitive edge in the market.What you'll be doing... Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals, particularly with respect to managing multiple P&Ls across different regions and product lines
Navigate the complexities of international commerce, adapting strategies to accommodate different economic environments and regulatory frameworks
Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting, including monthly financial statements, budgetary reports, and forecasts.
Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and prepare financial modelling.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Lead the finance team in managing budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, long-term forecasting, and insurance activities.
Work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies across the organisation.
Foster a culture of transparency and accountability in financial management.
Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
What you'll need... Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, Master’s degree or CPA.
To be ACCA qualified.
Proven experience as a Finance Director, Manager, Head of Finance, or similar role, with a minimum of 6 years of financial management experience.
Strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
Solid experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Worked internationally and oversaw finance beyond the UK, ideally across several markets. UK, Europe, US and Australian experience
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in financial management software and Excel.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
