Group Finance Assistant

We have an opportunity for a Group Finance Assistant to join the team at Crest Hotels based at Arnos Manor Hotel, Bristol. This is a new role to support our growth and commitment to creating a great experience for our colleagues from the very first contact through the years.

We have completed various large developments, from a full refurbishment and extension of the Almondsbury Inn and atheistically refurbishing Grade 1 listed hotels such as The Feathers Hotel Ludlow in excess of £2.5million.
Currently employing over 400 colleagues, in 8 unique hotels with 626 bedrooms.

The Role of Group Finance Assistant
The Group Finance Assistant will manage the companys financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The Group Finance Assistant will perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
An eye for detail, motivated, organised, empathetic, time management, problem solver are all attributes that the successful candidate requires. As a new role this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be able to take ownership and making them indispensable to an organizations fiscal fitness.
The role of Group Finance Assistant will report to the Director of Finance & Systems and is ideal for someone who has strong demonstratable experience in a Finance role in Hospitality who is AAT Level 3 trained and ideally experience of Xero and experience of working across a group.
