Are you an Environmental Manager with a background in waste management looking progress your career in a new role where you will be responsible for health and Safety compliance across three regional sites working for one of the UK's leading companies in recycling, in an autonomous role where you will be the go-to expert in Environmental compliance?

As the Group Environmental Manager you will conduct internal audits to ensure that all sites comply with regulations working alongside two other experienced environmental managers.

They play a critical role the recycling industry delivering long term benefits through reduction, landfill diversion and closed-loop recycling. Your main role is to assess the organization's current business practices and develop environmental strategies that allow the business to reach its environmental targets.

• Developing, implementing environmental policies and strategies
• Responsible for leading a team of two Environmental Managers
• Carry out environmental audits and assessments
• Drive the environmental strategy forward
• Reporting and record keeping

The person:

• Experience within the waste processing sector
• Hazardous waste qualification
