If so, this could be the perfect role for you!Our client is current experiencing a significant level of growth and is seeking a Group Accountant to join their busy and friendly Finance Team. You will be leading the production of accurate management accounts to a high standard and ensuring deadlines are met. You will need to be able to explain complex financial information clearly and enjoy working with accounting systems. You will have a logical approach to work alongside an analytical and problem solving mind.This is a full time role based in their lovely offices based on the outskirts of Wokingham. The salary for this role is up to £60,000 plus a discretionary annual 12% bonus.Main responsibilities for this Group Accountant role:Full ownership of the month end processManagement & reporting of KPI’s across the Business Units.Responsible for P&L reconciliations, including revenue and gross margin analysis for all Profit Centres within the Group.Ensuring full understanding of the cash requirements of each Profit Centre and liaising with the Finance Manager, to produce an accurate Cashflow forecast.Preparation and issue of variance reports to monitor and report on variances to budget and targets.Full responsibility for multiple balance sheets and associated reconciliations.Manage the monthly stock take process and monthly reporting and reconciliation of stock movements.Weekly 1:1s and quarterly Development Reviews with team membersSupporting the budgeting and forecasting process.Ad-hoc analysis and investigations for the Group Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Able to deputise for the Group Financial Controller when required along with reviewing company policies and procedures.Preparation of year end documentation and support with the year end audit.Able to deputise for the Group Financial Controller when required along with reviewing company policies and procedures.Skills required for this Group Accountant role:ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with relevant post qualification experience as a Group Accountant.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability and confidence to challenge other stakeholders.Excellent data volume skills including excel and pivot tables.Systems savvy with experience of ERP systems.Highly motivated and resourceful.
