Group Accountant FTC

Stanton House is currently recruiting for a Group Accountant to join a Bio-Tech Company in Cambridge on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract (possibility to go permanent for the right candidate). The role offers �60,000 per annum and a hybrid working arrangement (3 days in the office).

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of Group management accounts.
• Perform variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate cost capture in collaboration with Accounts Payable.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations in line with Group deadlines.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations in the ERP system.
• Oversee preparation and review of indirect tax returns for our UK business.
• Lease accounting tasks - IFRS 16.
• Handle other accounting tasks and activities as required.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proficient in utilising ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Possesses strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Understanding of Reporting Frameworks, including IFRS.
• Previous experience with MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to change.
