Group Account Manager
As the Group Account Manager, you will oversee a team of dedicated Product and Account managers, driving the development and success of our private label offerings. Your role encompasses a multifaceted array of responsibilities, ranging from commercial analysis, problem solving to customer relationships. You will report into the General Manager and will form a bridge of communication between the Product Management team and the General Manager.
Main Responsibilities
a team of Account/Product Managers giving them guidance and support
on issues / problem solving
support including negotiation
relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
point of escalation
development within customer portfolio
on efficiencies and best practice within the team
to GM on project status and working together to solve any challenges
of risks
of information needed to support production site
enhance relationship with parent company
elements of the P&L
functional collaboration
Required Role Competencies
Knowledge of the current retail environment and experience dealing with major multiples
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills based on relationship building
Able to deliver in a confident, authoritative and clear manner
Commercial understanding and acumen
Effective line management
Toiletry market knowledge or a passion to learn
Knowledge of own label would be desirable
FMCG lifecycle knowledge or a capacity to learn
Negotiation
Multi-tasking
Excellent presentation skills
Creativity and original thinking to present new ideas
Problem solving
Strategic thinking
