Grounds Maintenance

Grounds Maintenance/Area Operatives required, driving licence preferred however not essential if you have strong maintenance experience.

Main duties include:

• Maintaining grass on roundabouts, parks and highways


• Strimming


• Litter picking where needed and keeping the area generally tidy


• Street Sweeping (manual or with pedestrian controlled sweeper)


• Removal of graffiti


• Clearance of fly tipping


• Emptying of litter and dog waste bins


• Grass cutting (using pedestrian or ride-on mowers)


• Hedge trimming and winter maintenance pruning


• Checking the safety of play equipment and reporting defects as necessary

Requirements:

• Must be able to travel to West Thurrock, South Ockendon, Grays, Aveley


• Working hours Monday - Friday 7:30 - 3:30
