About Us
We are located on the Fylde Coast, close to Blackpool, Preston and Lancaster. Just over an hour to the beautiful Lakes District, an hour to Manchester Airport and just over an hour to Liverpool. There are a lot of options sports wise, several cinema's and plenty of nice pubs and restaurants, and choice of nightlife.
We provide acupuncture, K-laser, basic endoscopy, and staged dentals with dental radiography at both our sites, as well as top of the line multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring. We have monthly visits from a Cardiologist and have access to Specialist Surgical services for those cases we would like to refer, but that can't travel. Our Head Vet is a CertAVP and does most of our ultrasonography in-house, but we have access to more advanced ultrasonography support.
About the Team and Culture
We have a supportive, blended international team of 9 Vets, 13 RVNs, 2SVNs and 5 ANAs with a various experience levels. We provide our own OOH service for our clients, and we see a great variety of cases. We try to pick fun things to do for our team bonding, like an escape room, curling, quiz nights or our Christmas Party at a Gin Experience!
Our Clinical Director and Head Vet are both VetGDP advisors, and ready to support you. The whole Vet team takes a collaborative approach and we all learn from each other. We have regular 121's, Professional Development Meetings, and the protected team meeting time. As a new grad in our practice, you would have regular time off the rota for your development and support time, to prioritise your learning. Once you feel ready to join us on the on-call rota, we would start this with back up from either the CD or Head Vet.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a new Graduate Veterinary Surgeon, eligible to register with the RCVS.
