Job DescriptionGraduate Transport PlannerLocation: Leeds Salary: Flexible dependent on experience + benefits packageEmtech are working with a growing Transport Planning Consultancy who are looking for an Graduate Transport Planner with 0-2 years experience to join their team in Leeds. You could be a recent Graduate with a degree in Geography or Civil Engineering related subject who is looking to break into the Transport Planning field. If you have up to 2 years industry experience then this would be particularly beneficial for this position.As a business they are a tight team working on an exciting array of projects in the UK including large scale residential, schools, industrial and commercial.Your role will involve:Report writing and producing transport assessments, transport statements, travel plansJunction modelling and layout design, particularly the use of AutoCAD / GISA confident communicator who is able to speak to clients about projects issues etcTechnical analysis and software use including Junctions 9, ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIGWorking on a wide range of projects including: residential, retail and commercial schemesA driving license for site visits would be useful but is not essentialIn this role you will be join an established company as part of a growing transport planning team. You will have the opportunity to work under a team of experienced Directors and take ownership of your own projects.You will need to have the right to work in the UK to apply for this position.
