Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an astute and renowned Property Developer in their hire of an ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate Town Planner to their Solihull team!

My client is a 5-start multi award winning Homebuilder, who's dynamic multidisciplinary team are dedicated to creating exceptional EPC A-rated, zero carbon ready new homes!

The planning team is now looking to expand with the addition of an ambitious, energetic, and enthusiastic Graduate Town Planner! In this role, your duties will include:

• Undertaking planning appraisals for potential immediate and strategic development opportunities.
• Assisting Planning colleagues in the co-ordination and preparation of planning applications and then maintaining involvement throughout the planning process.
• Management of minor variation, condition clearance, pre-application advice and section 106 obligation discharge applications.
• Coordination of public engagement exercises and liaison with key stakeholders and community groups.
• Developing relationships with Local Planning Authorities and industry professionals.
• Assistance in maintaining a Local Planning Authority Monitoring database.

We are seeking applications from candidates who hold an MRTI accredited degree, or a relevant Town Planning degree with intentions to proceed through the APC process, licentiate RTPI members also considered. You will ideally have a full licence and access to a vehicle in order to attend site visits.
