Graduate Sales Basic Salary £25,000 - £30,000 + Bonus + Pension + Mobile

The Company:
Established in the early 1950’s our client is a market leader in the manufacture and distribution of flavours, colours, additives, preservatives, hydrocolloids, stabilisers, emulsifiers, etc. selling directly to food and beverage manufacturers globally. Boasting a global sales turnover in excess of £300million per annum and employing over 1000 employees, our clients are leading the way in new product development and introduction. They are currently looking to appoint an ambitious Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or Biochemistry graduate to utilise their degree and passion for food science while helping to grow their business across the UK.
The Role:
This exciting role will require a technically minded professional to assist the Sales Manager to develop new products, project plan, develop new business sales whilst managing, developing and retaining relationships within key accounts across the UK. You will be responsible for developing and delivering projects and product strategies for an expanding portfolio of products throughout a variety of markets within the UK.
The Candidate:
Applicants must be capable of demonstrating:
A university degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or Biochemistry
(Ideally) 1 year’s external or internal sales experience
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work accurately and thoroughly under pressure
Drive, ambition and determination
An ability to work on own initiative whilst working as part of a team
Good interpersonal and communication skills
