Graduate Quantitative Trading Analyst

Our Quantitative Trading Analysts are well known in our company as the brains behind the bet. You’ll join a small team in Leeds who develop statistical models for our trading systems. Your models will support our bookmaking function, producing odds for sports events that see over £4bn turnover every year, and enable us to analyse and evaluate customer behaviour and create effective marketing offers.
What you will be doing

Playing a key role in building statistical models, ensuring that everything we produce meets the needs of the business and our customers

Bringing ideas with the opportunity to analyse the way we work

Using mathematical techniques and modelling to improve our performance and profitability

Presenting analysis to various audiences in a way that they will understand

Continuously learning and developing

Using cutting-edge tools and techniques to find new ways to improve model accuracy and bring exciting new opportunities for our customers and sports traders
Who we are looking for
We are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos. To apply to this post, you will have:

Proficiency in statistical analysis and modeling techniques, with a strong foundation in mathematical principles, acquired through a first-class honors or postgraduate degree in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Computer Science.

Demonstrated interest and knowledge in sports betting and bookmaking, coupled with a keen enthusiasm for sports, providing valuable insight into the industry and its dynamics.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges, coupled with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of results and solutions.
