Job DescriptionEquifind are representing a boutique Asset Management firm based in Liverpool Street, City of London, who are looking to hire a Graduate Management Accountant.The firm boasts a huge investment portfolio with the main strategy being Equity. After a run of record-breaking years, the organisation is now looking to grow both by number of employees and AUM in 2023 making it a very exciting time to join the business.The company are in to work life balance, employee well being and giving people broad experience in a structured way.You will be directly reporting to their Financial Controller, supporting and assisting the team with bank reconciliations, payment set-up's, VAT returns, and credit control along with other accounting tasks. This boutique firm has a small finance team which will allow you to gain more exposure to various roles and further develop your understanding of finance as a whole.The Role:The key responsibilities for the Graduate Management Accountant for the Asset Manager based in the City of London will be:· Assisting with monthly reporting Process (P&L, balance sheet & cashflow) and timely delivery of draft financial information.· Responsibility and ownership of accurate balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.· Assisting with the year-end audit and tax process.· Ensuring accounts are up to date and the payments and receipts are processed in a timely manner.· Ad-hoc projects for the Head of Finance and Financial Controller.Application Criteria:To be considered for the role of Graduate Management Accountant working for this Asset Management business based in the City of London, candidates should ideally be:· Ideally a graduate with a degree in a subject that represents numeracy, business or science· Ideally from a Russell Group/Red Brick University but not mandatory· Anything from 6-12 Months experience within a finance function either as a Placement/Sandwich Year OR post Graduation experience.· Have an ambition or real desire to pursue the CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-growing environment· Strong work ethic and good cultureCompensation:The Graduate Management Accountant working for this Asset Management firm based in the City of London will be paid a competitive market based salary with full study support (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)· Annual performance related bonus (discretionary)· Hybrid working pattern· Employer pension contribution· 25-days annual leave· Other benefits
