Their financial strength, scale of infrastructure and high calibre systems provide them with an enviable platform for growth, but it is their people that have delivered the goods.Customer focus is a much-used cliché that is so rarely delivered, but the culture of their business really does encourage enthusiasm, initiative, and a genuine desire to deliver the extra mile in customer service.The ability to stand out from the crowd in this way is seen as fundamental in their plans to expand the business to the next level.This is a key role responsible for providing product information, client consultative services, quotes, orders, delivery lead time updates to clients and build project management liaising with third party specialistsDuties and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the client requirement and guide which product will meet the needsDealing with incoming customer/prospect enquiries by telephone and emailDispatch of contract renewal emails and assist with vehicle selection, ensuring fit for purposeLiaise with selected LCV suppliers to obtain vehicle supply costs, any specialist equipment and on the road pricingPreparation of vehicle quotations using our in- house system making sure that correct discount levels have been applied and adhere to the client policyRaising company proceed to order or tailored client order forms as relevantSourcing and ordering of vehicles and conversions with our internal and external suppliers and ensuring they have appropriate purchase order documentationTrack vehicle order, liaising in regard lead time with second stage build partners if appropriateLiaise with logistics team in regard to final delivery to clientManage movements of vehicle from first location on to converter(s), project manage to point of final deliveryHave an overview of any day to day or driver LCV concerns and escalate to Ops or Imps as requiredIn life vehicle movement management, liaising with logistics and maintaining record of ‘pool/spare’ vehiclesManage early termination or end of contract damage enquiries, liaising with Ops or RemarketingLiaise closely with area managerProvide support and assistance as and when required by the client management teamEnsure suppliers adhere to agreed KPIs; escalate as requiredMaintenance of CPs, cost centring and reallocation liaising with Imps teamAnalyse trends and working with AMs to evolve policiesMaintain/update new LCV product library on a regular basis. Ensure that such data is provided to all relevant staff via in-house shared files.Act as a company ambassador on client/suppliers’ meetings and reviewsSkills RequiredDegree EducatedPlacement year or work experience within a vehicle manufacturer or dealership backgroundAn individual who always conducts themselves in a courteous and professional manner.A sound understanding and appreciation of customer service principles and practices.A strong working knowledge of IT with good experience of the Microsoft office products in particular working with Excel and complex spreadsheets.An individual who is focused, professional with the ability to work closely with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority and supply partners in a sensitive and professional manner.Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, delivering a systematic, controlled approach with keen attention to detailAbility to learn effectively and follow through, applying problem solving techniquesThe desire to undertake continuous professional development and progress their own understanding of the sector.An enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently or within a team.Ability to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.The company run a Group Pension Scheme,Employee Interest Free Loan,VDU- Eye Care Scheme,Cycle to work SchemePanto ticketsHOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday Staggered start/end times. 9.00 – 17.30 or 8.30-17.00 (37.5 hours per week)HOLIDAY: 25 days holiday plus the 8 bank holidaysHEALTH & Safety: No current issues to report on site, Immediate start subject to satisfactory CRB check and referencesPlease complete the below web submission form and a consultant will be in touch soon.
