Step Into Teaching are looking forgraduate learning support assistantsfor a primary school inWalsalloffering a full time role starting in September for the 24/25 academic year.The role is to supporting special educational needs students within a mainstream primary school.This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is looking to gain experience before becoming an educational psychologist/SENCO.The Opportunity:
Graduate Learning Support Assistant
Aspiring educational psychologists/ SEN Teachers
1:1 & Small Group work
Primary school – rated 'Good' by Ofsted
Walsall
Full-time role – Monday - Friday
September 2024 start - for 24/25 academic year
£450 - £490 per week - term time only
Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside the class teacher to support children who need support in the classroom.
Supporting children with an EHCP alongside the SEN team
Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 1-1 and small groups
Planning and resourcing intervention sessions
Working alongside other professionals to assess children
Supporting children pastorally to enable them to feel safe and secure both at school and at home.
