Salary - £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
Location: Chandlers Ford, Southampton
An opportunity has arisen to join a small but dynamic team, the role is broad in nature and has the potential to be moulded and developed by the right candidate as the company targets growth and enters a new phase of selling into the UK retail market.
Essential:
Analogue and digital circuit design and schematic capture experience
PCB layout and manufacture
Report writing skills
Reasonable grasp of statistical and mathematical principles
Must be able to read scientific literature
ECAD software experience (Kicad EDA or equivalent)
Preferable:
Technical knowledge and/or experience collecting process data in a lab environment (Pressure, mass/volume flow, temperature measurement etc.)
Python and Embedded C programming languages
Experience in electronic systems design involving brushless DC motors drivers, solenoids, and LED lighting
Experience with PCB hand-assembly involving surface mount packages
Nice to have:
Basic understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes (particularly injection moulding and CNC machining)
Experience designing electronics projects using Microchip PIC32 and ARM STM32 microcontroller families
Understanding and/ or experience with additive manufacturing techniques (FDM, SLA)
Understanding of intellectual property and patent application process
Understanding of fluid mechanics principles at higher education level
