More about your role  


We are excited to recruit a Graduate Housing Officer as part of our 2024 Graduate Programme, internally known as our Emerging Talent programme.  


As a Graduate Housing Officer, you'll support with providing a five-star services to our customers across both our owned and managed properties. The two-year programme will support you to develop the core skills, behaviours and technical ability to develop into a successful Housing professional, with transferable skills across the wider Housing team.  


This role is a hybrid role with the expectation that you would be in the office 1 – 2 days a week. You will be based at one of our local offices therefore it is important that you are within a commutable and are willing to travel. We have roles available in Edinburgh, Derby, Newcastle, Preston, and Bristol


You'll work closely with the wider communities team and get involved with various aspects of our homes plus teams projects to ensure the needs of our customers are being met.  


The start date for this role is September 2024 which will include a week long induction from our Leeds Office which will include introductions to the Executive Team, a tour of Places for People housing stock & social opportunities for you to meet the rest of the 2024 Emerging Talent cohort.

You will be educated to a graduate level with a degree within a related specialism such as housing, real estate or a degree with a link to social services or working with vulnerable people.  


You'll have an enthusiasm for what you do and want to develop a career within the Housing sector.
