Graduate Geotechnical / Geoenvironmental EngineerWe are looking for a highly motivated and versatile individual to provide support to our team of project geologists and geo environmental engineers as a Graduate Geotechnical / Geoenvironmental Engineerin ourteam based in Peterborough. We are offering a competitive basic salary of between £23,000 - £26,000 depending on skills and experience.Role ResponsibilityCarry out and supervise the company’s fieldwork operationsAssist project and senior staff in data and report preparationOrganise and coordinate project resources, including suppliers and subcontractors, to enable efficient timescalesDemonstrate an understanding of project objectives and rationaleUse software and technical guidance documents for the assessment of data to determine the required outcome for the project or assignmentAdhere tohigh Health and Safety standards, in line with Company proceduresCommitment to develop personal CPDDevelop your working knowledge of relevant geo-environmental legislation, standards and guidanceDevelop your working knowledge of the design of conceptual models and thoughtProfessional communication with colleagues and all stakeholdersSite evaluation for tender and desk study purposesThe Ideal CandidateBachelor's degree in geology, or geoenvironmental related qualificationA good understanding of UK geology and geographical awarenessAdministration skills - ability to input, extract, interpret and record information from computerised information sourcesClear written and oral communication skillsExcellent organisational skillsA proactive approach to problem solving and customer careAbility to work calmly and accurately under pressureFlexible working as determined by the requirements of the company, with travel around the UK, often with extended hours (overtime will be paid)Full UK manual driving licencePackage DescriptionWhat's in it for you?We know that people are at their best when they are in a positive working environment.
