This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate geotechnical engineer with a geology/applied geology degree to join a specialist team of ground investigation and contaminated land experts on a variety of projects around Cornwall and the South West. With multiple offices across the UK and a huge variety of ground investigation and environmental projects to work on - this is an excellent first position for a graduate to receive focussed training and develop career defining skills.

The graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a range of responsibilities. These include carrying out ground investigations, assisting with site walkovers, writing factual and interpretive reports, carrying out soil and rock logging, trial pitting, carrying out phase 1 desk studies and observing day to day tasks in contribution to training.

To be considered for this Gradate Geotechnical Engineer role you must:

• Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, geography, or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
• Hold a full UK Driving licence.
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
• Live commutable to Cornwall and surrounding areas.
• Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills.
• Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role.
