I am recruiting a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Design Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in CAD (Solid Works), LabView, and mechanical knowledge. You will ideally have a year or 2 of industry experience, or have made practical use of your education in a University project



A starting salary of �40K is offered for this role.



This role is 100% site based. There is no remote working

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software

- Conduct simulations and analysis using tools such as SolidWorks, Simulink, and MATLAB

- Create schematics and technical drawings for manufacturing purposes

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

- Perform root cause analysis on design issues and implement corrective actions

- Conduct testing and validation of designs to ensure compliance with specifications

- Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during production



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)

- Experience with LabView, Simulink, and MATLAB

- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions are also compensated accordingly.
