Graduate Buyer Opportunity: Join A Dynamic Procurement Team!
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Buyer to join one of the fastest-growing businesses in the FMCG industry!
Your New Role:
You will be working for a global, exciting FMCG business based in London. We produce high-quality products and pride ourselves on being the best in the business! This role focuses on the packaging arm of our company.
As a Graduate Buyer, you will be responsible for negotiating prices with suppliers, managing costs, and achieving budgets for a globally recognized brand. While your primary focus will be on Purchasing, you will also collaborate closely with the wider supply chain management team, suppliers, and distributors, and provide support to all external and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and qualifying suppliers across various packaging categories
Negotiate with vendors/factories to meet the brand's cost and quality requirements
Place and progress purchase orders and buying contracts
Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are raised and delivered as per requirements
Work closely with the supply chain team to achieve the brand's goals
Could This Be You?
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or buying
Proven ability to achieve the best cost prices in line with budgets and corporate objectives
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at a senior level
