Governance Officer

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Governance Officer to join an NHS Trust site in the Maidstone area. As a Governance Officer, you will be responsible for policy and service development, ensuring that our hospital complies with all relevant regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with the Trust Management office team, providing personal, telephone, virtual and e-mail contact on a daily basis. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong track record in policy and service development.

Must have:

• Experience in a corporate governance role and minute taking at Board/Committee level


• Educated to degree level or with a comparable work experience


• Evidence of continuous professional development

You will be a team player, with a can-do attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare services. This is a temporary role but it could be on-going for a prolonged period, offering 37.5 hours per week, with an attractive payrate.
