By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.Team/Role Overview:As the TTS UK, Europe and MEA business continues to grow, one of its primary objectives is to further develop the Governance and Risk Management capabilities of the organization and ensure compliance with rules, policies and regulations.The primary objective of this role is to manage and continue to enhance the TTS governance model in the clusters and to ensure full compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Senior Managers, the Certification Regime (SM and CR), and other regulatory frameworks. The Governance and Conduct Risk Manager will report to the TTS UK Head of Governance and Conduct Risk, and will lead the governance and risk related initiatives in the UK and Europe region, including Conduct related programs.What you’ll do:End to end management of the Senior Manager and Certified Persons (SMCR) accountability regime in the UK. Manage other accountability regime requirements within the clusters, such as the Senior Executive Accountability Regime (SEAR).Lead regular reviews and enhance SMCR governance model through continuous improvements.Ensure compliance with TTS SMCR framework.Communicate with TTS UK and Europe Executive Committee members to ensure alignment on key governance topics - Lead risk governance, regulatory change and other project-based initiatives in the UK, including planning and execution of Conduct Risk initiatives.Partner with corporate functions to produce UK legal entity and other risk reports to support the TTS UK governance model; develop data management and reporting capabilities for TTS UK.Identify and escalate emerging risks to the TTS UK, Europe and MEA IBR Head and relevant senior management - Promote culture of risk awareness and clear risk ownership in TTS UK, Europe and MEA.Perform general corporate secretarial duties, including coordination of TTS governance meetings, tracking of key deliverables, maintaining accurate records.What we’ll need from you:Knowledge of UK regulatory (and other) regimes for financial institutions.Extensive years of experience of UK Corporate Governance at a Financial services firm.Experience in leading a wide range of governance and corporate secretarial activities, initiatives and driving change.Integrity, mission-driven, and self-directed.Strong interpersonal skills – including teamwork and organizational skills.Influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and senior management.Team player: strong communication abilities to serve as liaison between different groups within the organization; ability to foster co-operative and collaborative working.Bachelor Degree (Master Degree desirable).Qualification in Risk Managementis preferable.What we can offer you:Develop extensive knowledge about the TTS business.Broaden network at Citi and TTS through close interaction with TTS UK, Europe and MEA Exco, Product Leads and Partners.Apply and enhance risk and project management skills to a complex and dynamic business.We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.
