Due to an increase in customer demand in our clients business and continued company growth, they are now recruiting for a Goods in Co-Ordinator to join their team in the Runcorn / Widnes area on a Double Days position.
This role offers the opportunity to work for a true independent market leader and established global brand. Role Description
Co-ordinating stock transfer orders to 3rd party external warehouses, overseeing the accuracy of stocks and reconciliation of warehouse invoices.
Liaising with Hauliers, ensuring effectively coordinated deliveries, monitoring systems to ensure orders have been dispatched within agreed timescales.
Monitoring loading slots for the bulk and pack loading, managing potential disturbances.
Receiving and verifying the quantity and quality of incoming goods and materials against purchase orders and delivery notes, filling in the Goods checking notes with warehouse and booking the stock onto the stock control system ( MTMS )
Working to and ensuring Health and Safety regulations in the goods in area, including safe handling and storage of materials.
Manage outbound deliveries. Prepare and issue accurate documentation for customer. Arranging export declarations if required.
Raise Non Conformances and Hold Notes when required
Perform against KPI's, and measure deliveries against KPI's for lateness etc…
Completing daily and weekly PI stocktakes, ensuring the site has a stocktake every 4-6 weeks. Monitor shelf life of stock, raising concessions as required.
Some weekend work required on Saturday and Sunday to complete quarterly stock checks.
Ensuring all stock is booked and any discrepancies are resolved to help with working towards month end close offs for accounts
Skills and Qualifications
Experience in a goods receiving or warehouse coordination role, desirably in the food manufacturing sector.
Knowledge of the processes, tools, and operations required for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials.
Ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials, and supplies.
Ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses/ distribution centres, using knowledge of the policies, processes, and systems of warehouse management.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Excellent communication skills p;'
Proficiency in using inventory management software/systems
Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
